Booking Terms & Service Agreement

Introduction

This Service Agreement outlines the terms under which Honey & Grape provides curated grazing experiences, including mobile charcuterie cart service, grazing tables, and event installations. By reserving your date, you agree to the terms below, designed to ensure clarity, care, and a seamless luxury experience.

Booking & Payment

A non-refundable retainer equal to 50% of the total event investment is required to reserve your event date following consultation and receipt of your custom proposal.

This retainer represents consideration for exclusive date reservation, planning, sourcing, design preparation, and administrative services.

All proposals are valid for 48 hours. To secure your date, the signed agreement and retainer must be received within this timeframe. After 48 hours, availability and pricing are no longer guaranteed.

Final agreements and booking confirmation must be completed within 24 hours of acceptance of the proposal.

The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to the event date.

Clients may choose to pay in full at the time of booking.

Confirmation of Booking

Your event date is not considered reserved until:

  • The signed agreement is received

  • The retainer has been paid

  • Written confirmation has been issued by Honey & Grape

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made 7 or more days prior to the event may receive a refund of any payments made beyond the non-refundable retainer.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable, as the date, staffing, sourcing, and preparation have been exclusively reserved for your event.

If Honey & Grape is able to rebook the canceled date, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund or credit after deducting actual losses incurred.

Venue Access & Event Conditions

To ensure a seamless and safe installation, clients are responsible for providing accurate venue details at the time of booking, including:

  • Floor level and elevator access

  • Stair access or load-in restrictions

  • Electrical availability (if required)

  • Parking and unloading access

  • Distance from load-in point to setup location

  • Any limitations that may affect setup or breakdown

A flat, stable, and safe surface must be provided for all grazing installations and mobile cart service.

If undisclosed venue conditions result in additional labor, time, or logistical requirements, the client may be responsible for reasonable documented costs actually incurred.

Honey & Grape reserves the right to decline or modify service if venue conditions present a safety risk to staff, guests, food safety, or equipment.

Food Safety, Allergies & Guest Awareness

Honey & Grape prioritizes food safety and handles all products with care and attention to quality standards.

However, our offerings may include or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to:

  • Dairy

  • Nuts

  • Gluten

  • Eggs

  • Soy

  • Cured meats and other specialty items

We are not an allergen-free kitchen.

It is the client’s responsibility to communicate any dietary restrictions or severe allergies no later than 72 hours prior to the event.

Clients are encouraged to inform guests of potential allergens in advance.

Food Handling & Service Window

All grazing installations and food displays are intended for immediate consumption during the scheduled service period.

Once setup and service are complete and the display is left in the care of the client and/or venue:

  • Responsibility for food safety transfers to the client

  • Food should not remain unrefrigerated beyond standard safety guidelines

  • Honey & Grape is not responsible for consumption, storage, or handling after service concludes

Menu Adjustments & Substitutions

Final guest counts and menu adjustments must be confirmed no later than 1 week prior to the event.

Changes requested after this timeframe may not be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.

In the event of supply or ingredient limitations beyond our control, Honey & Grape reserves the right to substitute items of equal or greater quality while maintaining overall design and experience integrity.

Weather, Emergencies & Force Majeure

In the event that performance is prevented or significantly impacted by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Public health emergencies

  • Venue closures

  • Utility outages

  • Labor disruptions

Honey & Grape will offer reasonable rescheduling options or a credit toward a future event date.

Liability is limited where performance is prevented due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Arrival & Setup

Our team will arrive approximately 60–90 minutes prior to the event start time, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients are responsible for ensuring the event space is accessible, cleared, and ready for setup upon arrival.

Delays caused by venue or access issues may impact setup and service timing.

Changes & Communication

Any changes to event details, including timing, guest count, location, or access conditions, must be communicated at least 72 hours in advance.

Service Rights & Safety

Honey & Grape reserves the right to decline, modify, or cancel service if conditions present a risk to staff, guests, food safety, or equipment.
